Whereis22 (Michael Rainey Jr.) has been playing music since he was a baby. As an infant he before bed he would  to listen to a classical music DVD and hum the entire 30 minutes til he fell asleep. At around age 5 he played his first song by ear on the piano.  That song was "The Bridge is Over" by KRS-One, from then he continued to challenge himself. 

He later took piano lessons for 4 years where he learned theory as well. He plays the drum with no formal training.

Michael  is constantly making music on a daily basis whether it is in his home studio or in other studios. He has worked with names such as Famous Dex, Smooky Margielaa, RXPeso, and others that we will not mention as the songs are waiting to be released.
